3:30 AMFlipper
Viewers flipped for the megasmart dolphin that routinely helped his two young owners, Sandy and Bud, the sons of a widower living on the Florida shore (episodes were filmed in the Florida Keys and the Bahamas). Producer Ivan Tors, whose earlier credits included `Sea Hunt,' adapted the series from a 1963 film he worked on that made a splash, and later produced `Gentle Ben.' Flipper, by the way, was a male role filled by a female dolphin.
4:00 AMThe Patty Duke Show
A year after winning an Oscar for `The Miracle Worker,' Duke played Patty and Cathy Lane, `identical cousins all the way' (and received an Emmy nomination for the dual role). Patty was an extroverted Brooklyn Heights teen, while Cathy was a quieter, less impetuous and more cultured Scottish lass, living with her relatives until she finished school. Vastly different in every way, the cousins nevertheless made a good team for getting into (and out of) mischief.

8:00 AMFlipper
An updated batch of family-friendly tales about another brainy dolphin named Flipper pairs him with marine biologist Keith Ricks (who was young Bud in the original '60s show). The series underwent major changes for its second season, holding over only one cast member (two if you count Flipper) as love led Keith to Hawaii. It was further revamped a year after its syndicated run when it resurfaced on PAX, where it was retitled `Flipper: The New Adventures.'
9:00 AMGreen Acres
A popular, broadly played hoot about a city couple enjoying life down on the farm. The show came on the heels of `Petticoat Junction' and `The Beverly Hillbillies,' making CBS the place to be for cornpone comedy in the 1960s. Regulars from `Acres' and `Junction' routinely crossed over---easy enough since both series were set in the town of Hooterville.
